Spacious Layout

2 cabin/ 2 head layout--you have to see it to feel the difference

The interior layout of the Brewer 44 is renowned for comfort and practicality, with ample living space that includes a king aft cabin/head with separate shower stall; a well-equipped galley with excellent refrigeration capacity; and, vast storage throughout the vessel plus a workshop area. This makes it ideal for long-term cruising or living aboard. The cockpit will be your haven and can comfortably accommodate 8 people at anchor.

Sailing Performance

Versatility: The Brewer 44 performs well in a variety of wind conditions. This centerboard model will allow you to access shoal waters with the centerboard up while enjoying improved performance upwind and stability in heavy weather.

Ease of Handling: Designed to be managed by a small crew, the cutter rig provides versatility in sail management and ease of handling.

Upgraded and Reliable Mechanicals

Enjoy the reliability of the Perkins 85 HP engine with only 2,900 hours. At 85 HP she has upgraded power that is more than sufficient. The owner just had the engine serviced and she’s ready to go. The 5kW Nothern Lights generator will offer comfort away from the dock.

Practical Beauty

The quality of the workmanship and the finishes are truly something missing from many modern vessels. The classic design of the Brewer 44 with it’s goregous teak joinery, teak and holly soles and classic appointments appeal to sailors who appreciate traditional aesthetics along with modern functionality.

Community and Support

Owners of Brewer designed yachts such as the Brewer 44 benefit from a strong community of fellow owners and enthusiasts who share advice, parts, and cruising stories. You’ll never feel alone for problem solving while cruising on this time tested and well documented vessel.

Cassandra’s broker notes:

The current owners are the second owners and have enjoyed Persuasion since 2001, cruising extensively through the Islands and local waters. They are lovingly offering her for sale only due to health changes. This particular Brewer 44 was built at the Ft. Myers Yacht and Shipbuilding during the best quality build years for these boats.
