Deeply connected to Lake Norman, North Carolina, Paul’s childhood was woven with weekends and summers spent exploring a diverse array of family boats, from sleek ski boats to powerful performance vessels. As he matured into his late twenties, Paul delved further into his passion for boating, crafting, and fine-tuning his own performance boats alongside his young daughter, creating indelible memories that solidified his devotion to the maritime lifestyle.

Paul’s horizons expanded during a transformative voyage to Greece in 2016, where the enchantment of sailing seized his heart. This pivotal experience ignited a new enthusiasm for sailing, propelling him to pursue education through the American Sailing Association. His journey led to him attaining certifications to teach ASA classes and, most recently, submitting his application for a Near Coastal OUPV license.

Sailing has become an integral aspect of Paul’s family life, guiding them along the picturesque shores of the East Coast and beyond. When not tending to their sailboat in Oriental, North Carolina, Paul can be found engaging in club regattas with his wife, imparting his knowledge to school-aged sailors in summer camps, or eagerly attending boat shows wherever they may be. From monohulls to multihulls, cruisers to racers, Paul is eager to lend his expertise in facilitating your next boat purchase or sale.
